How it works

1. You choose.
Dates, accommodation, and the number of people. The calendar shows what is actually available: if it appears, it’s yours.

2. You see the final price.
Accommodation, half-board if you want it, bed linen if you need it, and the tourist tax. No charges that pop up at the end.

3. Make the payment to confirm your reservation.
Pay securely by card. You will receive an immediate email confirmation with the access details.

What time can I check in?

From 3:00 PM onwards. Check-in takes place at the Resto Bar of L’Auberge de l’Ours, at 30 Rue de la Carrère: please stop by there first, and we will escort you to the house.

What time do I need to check out?

At 8:00 a.m. at the Saint-Jacques hostel and at 9:00 a.m. at the Saint-Michel GR10. These are typical mountain hostel schedules: almost everyone sets out early for the day’s stage.

What time is dinner?

Dinner is at 7:00 p.m. at the Auberge Restobar.

Until when can I request half-board or the picnic?

Up to the day before your arrival.

Is there a crib?

Yes, we have a folding crib available. Please request it when booking.

Are there lockers?

Not for the moment. Backpacks are left in the entryway closet.

Where should I leave the car?

There is a free public car park a one-minute walk away.

Is there a backpack transport service?

We can arrange it, provided we are notified in advance.

Can I leave my backpacks if I arrive early?

Yes, no problem. Leave them at the bar and come back whenever you like.

Is there a quiet hour?

From 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. This allows those who head out at dawn to get a good rest.

And breakfast?

Can we have a room just for the family?

Yes. At the Saint-Michel GR10 Hostel, there are four double rooms on the first floor, and the entire house can be rented for a minimum of three nights.

What's in the house

Disposable sheets and blankets are provided in both houses. Kitchen available for guest use. Wi-Fi.

If you prefer cotton sheets and towels, we rent them for €9 per person per stay. Most people bring their own sleeping bags.

At the Saint-Michel GR10, there is also a washing machine, a dryer, and a secure storage area with a power outlet for storing and charging bicycles.

Can I bring my dog?

We do not accept pets in either of the two houses.

What if you have to cancel?

We offer a 100% refund up to seven days before arrival.

Cancellations or refunds are not possible within the final seven days.
